B3. Believers meet Jesus Then believers alive at the time will also meet Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 4 v 17 says: "Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord." It is suggested that the idea of being caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air is possibly referring to all the believers gathering high up on a mountain (up in the clouds) to be with Jesus.
