B1. Jesus Returns to the Earth Jesus WILL return to the earth. We are told that Jesus is currently in heaven and that he will come back to this earth. In Acts 1:11 an angel said to the disciples as they watched The Lord Jesus Christ ascend into heaven some 2000 years ago: "Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw him go into heaven."
